Sometimes herbs are used because they act similarly to pharmaceutical medications and other times herbs help restore balance to systems that need some extra help. Herbs are used in teas, salads, or as a spice in food. Growing herbs in the garden or recognizing medicinal plants on walks builds a connection with nature and help return balance to health.
